Mombasa

The final trip of August, Mombabsa. Mombasa is a coastal city in Kenya on the Indian Ocean. It is very beautiful, like the beaches in Tanzania that we visited, and such a relaxing trip. We had a wonderful time soaking in the sun with Tim and Kristen. We stayed at a hotel called The Voyager and enjoyed every second there.

These are some pictures from our trip. We were so lucky to be able to stay at such a beautiful place, thanks Tim and Kristen.

We're now back at Bosco Boys for camp, excited to be with the kids, surprised to find a few more volunteers here also. Gary and Lea have arrived from Germany. They will be staying with host families and will be working at Don Bosco Langata school. There is also another American volunteer who is spending around 3 months at DBYES with Fr. Sebastian Kol. His name is Stephen, and will be studying at the University of Tanzania for a year. It is fun to have some new faces around during camp.

We went snorkeling in the Indian Ocean, we swam with thousands of beautiful fish.

There was an "infinity" pool. You can not see the edges and this pool overlooked the ocean.

Katie enjoying the water slide.

We went to a wonderful seafood restaurant one night.

Pat and Tim
