Green House

During August, a group from Italy "Moving for Africa" came to build a Green House at Bosco Boys. The purpose is to cultivate certain crops which get destroyed from too much rain. This also allows more vegetables to be grown for the children to eat.

Fr. PD George, who is in charge of the shamba (farm), was very happy to get this new toy. They came for 3 weeks, enjoyed their time in Africa, and have constructed an enormous green house for the benefit of the Bosco Boys community.

The fertile "African red soil" being delivered for the green house.

Brother David with some of the women.

Some of the boys wanted to hang out and help.

Measuring out the dimensions of the project.

The beautiful new green house at Bosco Boys, thanks Italians!
