WE'RE HERE!!!

After a long, long, long flight and absolutely no sleep for 24 hours (and counting) we are safe at Bosco Boys in Karen, Nairobi, Kenya. We have our rooms situated and already attented a very enthuastic church service. The music and voices of the children were beautiful! We are now resting and waiting for lunch. It is almost 1pm on the 7th.... This place is amazing. We have driven past wild monkeys that walk along the road that are pretty decent sized, a home that is 10 minutes from a nation park full of wild animals, and a school full of "farm animals" running around. We are happy and excited.... It may be a while until our next post, the internet is much slower here and we don't have, as of now, easy access to computers. We are still only 2 hours in. We love you all very much. Please keep praying for us as we finally begin this year long adventure.

Day in Oxford

We went to Oxford yesterday with Chris and walked around the city/campus. The architecture is very medieval and beautiful. We walked to the farmers market and then when Chris went to class we went to the Museum of Natural History. After a delicious home cooked meal we went for a night stroll.

St. Paul's Cathedral & Tower of London

Night Out in Marylebone, London

We went to "The Cock & Lion" Pub in Marylebone. It is down the road from Amy's apartment. We then went about and walked around the streets for a few hours. It's different in London where many shops close around 4:30 and don't open again until 8ish. So we had a late dinner around 8:30 of Fish & Chips/Angus Burger. We then kept walking around and stumbled across Amy's culinary school "Le Cordon Bleu". We stayed outside and surprised her. Then we went an authentic Japanese restaurant where we had to take off our shoes and it was a fun 10:30 dinner.

fun with Chris and Amy
